LIAM LOIACONO
Liam Loiacono is a 17-year-old Australian racing car driver who began his career in 2023. In his rookie year, he won the QLD State Formula Ford Championship and was also awarded the QLD Champion Driver title by Motorsport Australia.
In 2024, with backing from Heli Material Handling Oceania, Liam competed in the Australian Formula Ford Series, placing 4th in the Australian Championship, 1st in the QLD Championship, and 3rd in the Victorian Championship. His rapid rise in the racing world showcases his talent and dedication to the sport.
In 2025, Liam took his racing career international, competing in the USF Juniors Championship with Jay Howard Driver Development. He finished 2nd overall and earned Rookie of the Year, securing 5 wins, 7 podiums, and 9 top-five finishes. Along the way, he also claimed 4 pole positions, 5 fastest laps, and set 3 new track records. Recognized not only for his performance but also his character, Liam was awarded the Spirit Award for exceptional sportsmanship. His season was made possible thanks to the full-season support of Heli America Inc., with additional backing from JW Winco for the final two rounds.
